The study set out to affirm that Traditional Public Administration existed in pre-colonial Africa, specifically Nigeria. These administrative systems performed all the functions are currently being executed by modern public systems, such as designing best strategies for efficient delivery and attainment of goods. case-study approach was adopted, which old Oyo, Benin, Kanem Borno, Oron Kingdom amongst others were comprehensively evaluated.
